The half-cut Cell solar module reduces the internal circuit and internal friction, and the packaging efficiency is improved; in addition, the operating temperature of the module is reduced, which reduces the probability of hot spots and improves the reliability and safety of the module. In terms of shadow occlusion, due to the unique design, it has better anti-occlusion performance than conventional components. Compared with traditional modules, half-cell solar modules are mainly manifested in three aspects: 1. Reduce heat generation and reduce temperature loss Due to the reduction of internal current and internal loss, the operating temperature of components and junction boxes drops, and the probability of hot spots and the risk of damage to the entire component are also greatly reduced. When the module is working outdoors, the temperature of the half-cut module itself is about 1.6°C lower than that of the conventional full-cut module. 2. Reduce shading loss With its special parallel-series structure, the half-cell module can make the modules arranged vertically to improve the utilization rate of supports and land, and at the same time reduce the loss of power generation caused by shading. 3. Improve packaging efficiency The packaging loss of conventional components is generally greater than 1%, while that of half-chip components is generally around 0.2%. Therefore, the half-chip module takes advantage of the low current characteristics to effectively improve the packaging efficiency of the module.
